Microstrategy Developer Washington, DC Contract to Hire Requirements: -Bachelor's degree in computer science, or mathematics, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). -Minimum 7+ years of IT experience in Business Intelligence (BI). -Minimum 5+ years of solid hands-on experience in MicroStrategy development. -Minimum 3 years of experience in Architect capacity to provide end to end solution on MicroStrategy. -Experience in leading/designing BI tool development as Architect role with team. -Expensive hands on development in BI reporting and Performance tuning. -Solid understanding of data modeling, star schema, data/query optimization with structural/un-structural data. -Solid understanding of Analytic tool development with massive amount of data from multiple data sources. -Experience with most of MicroStrategy features including report, dashboard, SDK development, data tiers. -Advanced SQL coding skills. -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical problems. -Experience with Big Data Technologies, Data Transformation, and modeling are plus (Hadoop, HDFS, Apache Spark, Hive, Cloudera, Snowflake). -Experience in Snowflake is plus. -Positive personal and good team player. Responsibilities: -Proficient in Analytic application development skills, design techniques, and deliver BI solution from various source system. -Provide architect scalable, high availability BI solution with MicroStrategy. -Lead the BI report team in developing strategies and development of BI solution with MicroStrategy. -Produce high quality detail design documents, coding, code review and unit testing. -Provide insight into software development best practices and lifecycle
